We make this appeal to all Trade Unions, Student Unions, Organisations and individuals opposed to all cuts in Public Services.
Please attend the March and Lobby on Thursday next 24th February. We will be marching from Uxbridge Tube station to the Civic Centre.
Save the Music Service – Save Connexions – Stop the cutbacks in Elderly Care – Day Care Centres – Respite Centres – Childrens Services.
Say NO to the complete abolition of secure Council tenancies and massive increases in rents. Say NO to the continuing Housing crisis, homelessness, unemployment and Poverty. Stop the privatisation of the NHS, The Fire Services, The Postal Service, etc.
Let the Fightback continue. Make the Super Rich pay.
Following last Thursday’s Lobby of the Cabinet meeting, one Conservative councillor allegedly implied that ‘we can do what we want (at the Full Council Meeting on the 24th) because no one will be there’.

The council covered over the cuts in the Connexions Service very well tonight in their meeting just talking about youth clubs and the fiesta program. The Labour opposition did not propose an amendment to their planned cuts. Local ‘Democracy’ in action
