Next HAC Meeting

Dear colleagues,

We are a Community and Trade Union based organisation, founded and constituted at a public meeting held at Emmanuel Church Hall in Northwood in November 2010.  The following Unions support and play a vital role in HAC … UNITE (Hillingdon LA), UNISON (Hillingdon LA), GMB (Heathrow), Fire Brigades Union, UCW,  RMT.  Other Unions, PCS and UCU have also been represented at our meetings and Lobbies of the Council.  We are also supported by the National Shop-Stewards Network (NSSN) and the Hillingdon Socialist Party Branch.

We are continuing to build a Borough-wide campaigning organisation to work alongside other campaigns in London and Nationally.  We are not a replacement for the Trades Union Congress.  We are a rank-and-file open and democratic Campaign, organising from below to ensure the success of all Industrial and Community Action, to defeat the government’s plans to destroy the Welfare State and the attacks on the wages, conditions and pensions of all workers.  We are opposed to the callous attacks on the unemployed, the Young, Students, the elderly, the sick and disabled.  We demand that the government stop this ideological assault on the Welfare State and instead collect the £120 Billion in avoided and unpaid taxes from their super-rich friends in the Banks, Corporations and the City of London.  We depend on donations payable to the organisation, at the address below.

Make the super-rich pay … they caused the crisis … not the workers.

We urge you to send Delegates/Observers/Rank-and-file members to our next meeting (Details below).  The meeting is open to all members of the community and all Trade Union members who are opposed to all cuts.
