Hillingdon Against Cuts (HAC)
Defend all Public Services …
Make the super-rich pay their £140 billion taxes.
In the aftermath of the recent riots and looting which we can never condone; the government continue to blame the “irresponsible parents” and deny that their own policies and behaviour had anything to do with the unrest. The carnage and the tragic deaths of five people as a consequence are an indication of the moral bankruptcy of the political and financial elites.
Was it the irresponsibility of the parents that made so many MPs fiddle their expenses to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds or forced so many to lie for years about their second homes?
Was it the parents who caused the bankers, the speculators and the corporations to loot the economy and destroy the savings, the jobs and the lives of millions of ordinary working people and continue to pay themselves bonuses as they sack workers?
These paragons of virtue, of all governments, now seek to blame everyone but themselves. They declare that those dying from terminal diseases are “fit for work” and that the low-waged, the unemployed and the poor are “scroungers and spongers”. They want to privatise all Public Services including Primary schools and the NHS. They must be defeated and we call on all those in work to join a Union and demand that the TUC call a General strike. We must expose these hypocrites and their tax avoiding super-rich friends.
Quote …”Things got out of hand and we’d had a few drinks. We smashed the place up and Boris (London Mayor) set fire to the toilets” … David Cameron as he gleefully remembered one of the many riotous escapades as a member of the Bullingdon Club at Oxford in 1986. Nick Clegg the deputy Prime Minister was sentenced to Community Service as a 16 year-old, for setting fire to property whilst he was drunk. These are the people who moralise and advise us on how to behave and raise our children.
